I developed a nagging pain in my right wrist over the course of a month that wouldn't go away. It lingered on, not getting better or worse, but just "there". My work and hobbies are demanding on my hands (personal training during the day, martial arts in the evening) so this was a real problem; I just couldn't use my hand.
